About 255labs
255labs is two brothers, Martyn and Mikkel Garcia. We're senior engineers who have built software together since registering 255BITS in Denver, Colorado, in 2012, and today we focus on AI: building our own AI products, maintaining open source like HyperGAN, and helping startups ship AI.
We're also two of the four senior AI engineers behind Differential AI Lab (difflab.ai), together with Gabe and Lee.
Martyn Garcia
I've been writing software since an early age and have decades of professional experience. My background is backend engineering, full-stack development and open source machine learning. On the business side I'm drawn to startups and to scaling small businesses, and I like helping them get real results from AI rather than demos.
Mikkel Garcia
I've spent my career helping startups build things people want, and then deploying and scaling them for heavy usage. My work is engineering-first, full-stack, and concentrated on high-impact areas: sign-up and sales flows, operational transparency and security. For over a decade I've also built and maintained apps for small businesses through our AnyApp collection on Wix.
